SU 53 NE NORTHINGTON NORTHINGTON

Lodge, now private house. Circa 1809, C20. Rubble flint with Purbeck stone
dressings and old fishscale tiled roof with Purbeck stacks, addition brick
and tilehung. L-shaped 2 bay by 2 bay building end on to drive with C20 wing
added to end. 2 bay, 2 storey with door on left in projecting single storey
gabled porch with pointed doorway. Above 2-light leaded casement oriel and
to right on each floor 2-light leaded casements. Boxed eaves with roof half-
hipped and at right end of ridge group of 4 square stacks with offset heads
on diamond bases.
