Carriage house and stables. Late C19. Brick with Bath stone dressings, roof
slated. Buildings ranged around 4 sides of square courtyard with moulded
entrance arch on S side. Mainly of one tall storey, with central 2 storey
sections, that on N side of 6 bays above arcaded ground floor on inner face.
On S side 2 storey section off centre, to W of centre tower of 3 stages with
parapet, baroque dome and vent turret above. Inner face has staircase tower
and arcading to W. Sash windows with heavy stone lintels and cills. In state
of disrepair.
