8/38 Manor Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C18 incorporating earlier building. Brick with old plain tile
roof. Double pile building with older building to rear. 2 storeys and attic
on basement, 5 bays, symmetrical. Central C19 door, 4 panelled half glazed, in
Portland stone Doric porch. Windows have rubbed brick arches and Portland
cills, ground floor windows lowered C19, and glazing altered C19. Brick dentil
cornice, parapet and stone coping. 2 pedimented timber, lead covered dormers
with 2-light casements. To front range gable end rendered stacks. Building
has original pointing, blue headers to basement and on walls other than front.
