Mill

II

Mill with attached mill house. TL & WE 1814 on tablet, on site of earlier
mill. Brick, partly colour washed with tiled roof to house and slated roof
to mill. Mill 2 storey 2 bay, central door, C19 top glazed, with timber
pedimented porch. To left-on each floor 12-pane sash and in right bay 2-
light casements. Mansard roof with hipped ends and brick stack in the centre
of each bay behind ridge. Right side has 1 bay link wing with C20 windows,
and 2 storey and attic, 6 bay mill with in every other bay on each floor C19
camber head 2-light casements. Mansard roof with sloping roof dormer in
centre on upper roof slope. Wheel removed but some hatch gearing remains.
