Chapel, sometime cottage now store. Late C14. Rendered rubble flint with
stone dressings, roof tiled, brick ridge stacks at E end, and W centre and
stone stack at W end. L-shaped with chapel as long stem and priest's lodgings
forming short base at W end. S side has 3 C17 single lights with cusped trefoil
heads and hood mouldings at W end 1st floor square headed window with cinque
foiled light and below low small square window. W end has similar window and
to N 2 offset projections for garderobe and staircase, with north roof outshot
over. N side has 2 pointed doorways, E door to chapel, W door at lower level
to lodging, and small altar light at W end. Inside chapel has C20 medieval
style fireplace at W end. 4 centred rear arches to doors and windows. C19
square opening to lower priests lodging, with small square light at 1st floor
level. Roof to chapel C19 queen post with at W 3 trusses of C15 arch braced
roof. Priests lodging has 3 doorways on its N wall. Pointed arches to front
door and staircase, round arch at W to store. Small fireplace on W wall with
large stone bressemer. Heavily beamed ceiling. Stone staircase with arch at
top to room with chamfered moulding with stop near floor level. In W wall small
doorway to garderobe. Fireplace in E wall with large stone bressemer.
