Cottage now 2 dwellings. C17 & C18. Colourwashed cob, brick, roof thatched.
Late C17 building with C18 crosswing at right. 3 bays, 1½ storeys. Door at
centre of Rosary C19 top glazed with tiled timber gabled porch. Either side
C19 3-light casements above 2 tall eyebrow dormers with large 2-light case-
ments. Brightwells has C20 glazed front door and bow window, with older
Dutch brick arch, and above C20 window. Roof to wing swept down to 1st
floor level and half hipped on ends. Large stack over wing where ridges
meet and ridge stack above left end of Rosary and hip stack at left end
with bread ovens and hip thatch swept round.
