SU 43 NE WONSTON STOKE CHARITY

4/23 Kirbys Cottage

Cottage. C17 & C20. Timberframed with brick infill, part rendered, brick
additions, all colourwashed, roof thatched. C17 building end on to road with
wing attached to side at road end and bay added to other end in C20. C17
house 3 bay 1 storey, but centre bay has C20 eyebrow dormer window. Door at
left of right bay with baffle entry with early C19 lattice glazed cast iron 3-
light casement in centre bay. Left bay has C20 wing but left, roadside, end has
another 3-light early C19 cast iron casement and exposed timber. Roof half-
hipped with ridge piece and brick ridge stack above door.
