SU 43 NE WONSTON STOKE CHARITY

4/25 No 1 (Alleyne Cottage)

GV II

Cottage. C17 & C18. Timberframe encased in rubble flint with brick dressings,
weatherboarded outshot, all under thatched roof. 1½ storeys, 3 bays, right
bay has late C18 lattice glazed cast iron 2-light casement, other windows C20.
In centre bay blocked doorway below stack with above on right small eyebrow
dormer with tall C20 window. Left end has weatherboarded outshot. Roof half-
hipped over outshot, ridge piece and small brick ridge stack to left of centre.
To rear large late C20 thatched extension.
