4/12 Bray Cottage

Pair of cottages, now single dwelling. Circa 1845. Cob, rendered and colour-
washed, roof thatched, brick stacks. Each cottage 2 bay with set-back lean-
to at each end, 1½ storey, with door in rendered thatched porch in centre of
left cottage, but removed from right cottage. Centre bays have 2-light case-
ment on each floor with eyebrow dormer to upper window. Outer bays have
small irregular windows. Roof with swept down hips and ridge piece. Large
central ridge stack, with stack at left end of ridge. Built by Church Com-
missioners for labourers on their Wonston Manor Farm.
