3/10 The Coffee Tavern

Cottage. Early C19 Flint with brick dressings, roof thatched brick stacks.
Cottage orné style, 1½ storey, 2 bay, building, end on to road, with wide outshots
to each side. Road end has central gabled thatched porch with carved bargeboards
and C20 planked door. Each side a 2-light leaded casement with cambered head. In
gable 3-light leaded casement with shutters, and carved bargeboards. In ends of
outshots a 3-light leaded casement with shutters. Roof has ridge piece and is
swept over outshots and hipped round them. On each side where outshot roof
commences is a pair of diamond stacks with offset heads.
