GV II

Cottages. C16 and C18. Timber-frame part exposed, brick infill, rebuilding and
addition with some flint, roof old plain tile. 4 bay timber-frame with large left
centre hall bay, with low C18 bay on left and C18 3 bay wing to rear of right
2 bays. Road front 4 bays, 1½ storeys with low 2 storey bay on left. C19 door at
right of centre, windows C19 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Timber-frame
exposed above windows in left 2 bays. C18 flint bay has blocked door and windows.
Above left 2 bays 2 sloping roof eyebrow dormers with 2 and 3-light casements.
Roof half-hipped at left with lower slate roof to C18 bay. Roof at left. Large
stack on ridge above door. To right rear wing 3 bays, 1½ storeys, C19 doors at
inner end of end bay. C19 2 and 3-light camber head casements and 4-light casement
at road end. Above centre and road end bays eyebrow dormers with C19 3-light
casements and 2-light casement on intermediate level between them. Roof has lower
ridge than front roof, with ridge stack over door at inner end. All windows have
glazing bars.
