SU 63 SW BISHOPS SUTTON OLD PARK ROAD

5.12.55 II

Farmhouse, C17, C18, remodelled C20. Brick, rendered, with tiled roof. 2 storey
and attic on plinth with cellar, 4 window range with cross wing behind right end
with higher tilehung half-hipped gable above. Door between left and inner window,
with C20 brick surround and flat hood on carved timber brackets. C19 camber
headed 3-light casements. Clasping buttresses at each end with 1st floor raised
band from left end to between right and inner window, where raised strip
running up eaves. 5 C19 2-light casements and bullseye window above door on 1st
floor. On roof above left window 2 C19 hipped roof dormers. Large ridge stacks
above door and between right and inner bay where 1st floor band ends.
