SU 52 NE BRAMDEAN HINTON HILL

GV II

Pair of cottages. C16, remodelled C20. Timber-frame with brick infill and brick
on ground floor, roof thatched, 2 attached single bay cottages, that to left
at lower level. Both cottages 1½ storeys, 2 bays with outshot to right cottage.
Planked doors in outshot and at right end of left cottage. Each cottage has
C20 2 and 4-light steel windows with single casement in outshot. Above 4 eyebrow
dormers with C20 2 and 3-light casements. Roof hipped and swept down at right,
with decorated ridge piece. Large ridge stack at right end of each cottage and
projecting stack on right end wall of outshot.
