8/16 Longwood Dean Farmhouse

Farmhouse now house 'WHEN,1840' on tablet, late C19 addition. Flint with brick
dressings, slate roof. 3 by 3 bay building, with 2 by 1 bay addition and full
height porch. Garden front 2 storey, 3 bay central gabled projecting porch
with tablet in gable and C20 double door in pointed brick arch below. Each side
mid C19 16-pane sash in opening with Dutch arch and lowered sill. Above 3 small
16-pane sashes. 1st floor string course and brick plinth band and bands at level
of bottom, centre and top of windows. To right, set back late C19 full height porch
open on ground floor with 12-pane sash above, and behind and to right service
range.
