SU 5828 CHERITON SCHOOL LANE

GV II

House. C16 encased C18,altered C20. Remains of timber-frame in brick skin with
blue headers, slate roof. 2 storey, 3 window range. At right end C20 glazed door
with casement on either side. In left bay early C20 door, top glazed, and
2-light casement to left. Centre bay has C20 rectangular flat roofed bay. On 1st
floor C19 and C20 1, 2 and 3-light casements. Steep pitch roof with gable end
stacks and small stack to left of centre. Arch brace roof survives inside.
