GV II

Garden walls. C18 and C19. Brick walls with wrought iron gates, flint and brick,
thatched and tiled sheds. Walls run from end of house outwards and then away from
the house at either side of garden with cross wall dividing garden. Single gate
on cross wall, early C18, immediately opposite late C17 porch. Imitations of this
gate and that in front courtyard occur elsewhere. Part of wall running from late C18
wing of house has small early C19 shed of flint with brick dressings, thatched
roof and Gothick windows and door. At other end of house c1906 hipped tiled brick
gazebo marks corner of wall.
