5/55 Yew Tree Cottage

GV II

Cottage late C18. Brick with blue headers, and a weatherboarded bay, old plain
tile roof. 2 storeys and 3 bays with 4th weatherboarded bay added to left. C19
porch between centre bays, gabled brick structure with door to side and window
in front. Either side 3-light casement with camber head of soldier course and
blue header course. In left bay C19 2-light casement, and weatherboarded gabled porch
at left end. Right bay blank. Above centre bays 3-light casements. Dovecote above
window on left bay. Roof half-hipped at right, with left bay having slightly raised
roof. Stack between right bays and at left end of brick part.
