Agents house, now tied cottage. 'GJN 1880' on tablet, by G Devey, for Lord
Northesk. Ground floor flint with brick dressings, 1st floor timber-frame with
plaster infill, plain tile roof. 3 by 3 bay 2-span building. Front 3 bay,
1½ storey. Central C19 4-panel door under bracketed pent-roofed porch. Each
side 3-light casement with small top lights, in segmental headed opening with
blue bricks in arch. Right bay is slightly projecting gable. 1st floor brick band
below plasterwork. In gable 2-light casement and tablet in bottom left comer.
Above door, narrow 2-light casement in gabled dormer. To left 2-light casement
with head in gabled eyebrow dormer. All gables have curling bargeboards and
finials. Symmetrical 2-flue stacks on gables of each span.
