SU 52 NW OWSLEBURY MORESTEAD ROAD

4/2 Barn at Long Barn

Barn. C18 and early C19. Rubble flint with brick dressings, cob on brick plinths
brick, corrugated iron roof. To right C18 5 bay barn reroofed. Central bay has
tall double doors both sides. To left 5 bay barn with date 1820 in knapped flints
on wall but earlier roof. Central bay at front full height double doors and to
rear midstray porch. Roof continuous with half-hips, and eaves ride up from right
half to left half. Attached to front at left end 2 bay flint and brick shed and to
right end cartshed with flint wall and corrugated iron hipped roof.
