11/2 Corner Cottage

GV II

Small house. Late C18, with late C19 and C20 rear alterations. Brick, and tile.
Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 2 windows. Plain roof with brick dentil
eaves; slate roof of lower pitch at the rear. Walls of red brick headers,
cambered ground-floor openings, stone cills, cement plinth; at the west side a
wall extends to mask an outshot, of flint with brick dressings and a tile capping.
Casements. The doorway has a plain stucco architrave, enclosed by an open
porch, with a gabled tile roof on posts, and a 6-flush-panelled (2-top-glazed)
door.
