Pair of cottages. c. 1900. Brick and thatch. Slightly exaggerated vernacular
style, with a near-symmetrical front(south) of 1 storey and attic, 2.1.2 windows.
Roof with a large overhang, eyebrow dormers, a hipped section above the pro-
jecting centrepiece, and a canopy above the bay and doorway of Little Thatch
(west side). Red brickwork, with some areas of flint panelling. Casements,
rectangular bay at the west side, the former doorway to Thackery being now a
window. ½ glazed door to Little Thatch, in a plain opening: the boarded door
to Thackery is now embodied in an outshot set back at the east end. 'Tudor'
stacks with diagonal flues on rectangular bases.
