GV II

Cottage. C17, with C20 restoration. Timber-frame, flint and brick, and a
thatched roof. 1 storey and attic, 4 windows. ½-hipped roof, eyebrow dormers,
catslide at rear. Most of the upper wall has exposed framing with plaster
infill, the lower wall (and south side) has flint horizontal panels, with brick
quoins, bands, plinth. Leaded casements. Plain doorway and boarded door,
beneath a thatched canopy on posts. Stone inset near the doorway is inscribed
I P 1701.
