GV II

House. A late-medieval timber-framed building, with re-cladding and extensions
of the early C19. Rendered and brick walls, with a tile roof. The front (south-
east) is of 2 storeys, 2.1 windows. The hipped roof extends to a low eaves above
a south-side outshot, and is broken to form a lower eaves to the early C19 north
side, where there is a brick dentil eaves. The south side is roughly plastered,
the north side of painted brickwork. Sashes, one Yorkshire sliding sash in the
upper part of the north side. 4-panelled door within a lightly-framed open porch. The north elevation (early C19) has 2 windows (the upper Yorkshire sashes the lower casements) and is linked to a single-storeyed service wing. Within, the heavy frame of the original building is exposed.
