GV II

Row of 7 cottages. Mid C18. Brick with flint bands, old plain tile roof.
2 storey, 2 bay cottages. Central cottage has slightly projecting small full
height bay in centre with brick pediment with dentilled architrave. C19 planked
door with solid frame. Each side of bay C20 2-light steel casements, all ground
floor openings have segmental heads. On 1st floor each side 2-light steel
casement. Other cottages have same arrangement without projecting bays. Wall
has thin flint band in short stretches at plinth level, a wider band also in
intervals with brick dressings between above ground floor openings and 2 thin bands
between 1st floor windows. Dentilled eaves. Roof hipped with ridge stacks on party
walls between Nos. 1 and 2, 3and 4, 5 and 6, and 6 and 7.
