GV II

Rectory. Early and mid C19. Yellow brick with slate roof. 4 bay by 3 bay
early C19 building with service range to rear, extended with small entrance
wing added to left side and full height canted bay added to right side. Front
2 storey, 4 bay with 1½ bay 2 storey entrance wing on right side. Ground floor
has 4 opening with rubbed brick heads in raised band. 3 4-pane sashes and left
centre opening blind. 1st floor left 2 openings blind and 2 4-light sashes.
Right wing has on ground under same rubbed brick arch top-glazed double door with
rectangular fanlight above with narrow edge panes and sash to right with narrow
edge panes. Above to left narrow sash and to right 4-pane sash. Roofs hipped
with boxed eaves and stack on front of main roof near left end, and other stacks
to rear. Included for group value with church and overlooking house and its
conservatories.
