House enlarged into small country house. Early C18 enlarged early C19 and
c 1911. Brick, with front of oldest part stuccoed, old plain tile roofs.
3 bay 2-span C18 house with wing added to left of rear span Cl9, then house
enlarged to small country house c 1911 with service wing added to far left and
rear span of original building rebuilt with new entrance front built along all
rear in Queen Anne style. S garden front, has to right C18 3 bay 2 storey
building. To left of it, setback a bay, C19 2 storey, 3 bay part with to left
C2O low 2 storey, 3 bay service wing. C18 part has central door, now french
windows with early C2O doorcase of Doric pillars supporting entablature with
keystone in frieze. Each side flat roofed canted bay with 12-pane sash in front.
Stuccoed with rusticated quoins and string course at level of cornice to ground
floor opening. 4 small flush framed 16-pane sashes on let floor with modillioned
eaves cornice. Rendered symmetrical stacks. Cl9 part has 3 french windows
with 12-pane sashes above all with rubbed brickheads, wide boxed eaves and
symmetrical stacks. To left C20 part has wide 3 and 4-light casements with door
to right of centre, all with rubbed brick heads and above larger 2 and 3-light
casements. Wide boxed eaves to flat lead roof to right with hipped roof to left
and set between them thin long stack.
