13/17 The Cranny and
Jessamine

GV II

Pair of cottages. Early and mid C19. Brick, slate roof. The Cranny
early C19 2 bay cottage with very similar 2 bay Jessamine cottage added
to right slightly later. Cranny has central 4-flush-panel door in solid
frame under flat hood. and each side wide 16-pane sashes with wide 12-pane
sashes above. Jessamine has 4-panel top-lit door surrounded by arched yew
hedge with each side wide 12-pane sashes with wide 9-pane sashes above. All
openings have segmental heads. Roof continuous and out shot to rear with
stacks each end of each cottage'. Jessamine included for group value.
