Late C18 early C19 and medieval coffin lid reused late C19. Portland stone arid
golden limestone lid. Coffin lid found during 1865 church work and used on
grave of churchwarden has carved cross on top chests beside it 1795 Henry Nevill
1836 Thomas Nevill. To W of nave tombchests: 1760 to Ann Wharton and family;
1786 to Betty Wharton and family. 1796 to Charlotte Hill.
