SU 5132 ITCHEN VALLEY EASTON

13/36 Bacton Thatch

GV II

Small house. Mid C18 extended to rear 1980's. Brick, thatched roof. 2 storey,
4 bay, asymmetrical, outshot to rear enlarged C20. Doorway to left of centre
with C20 4-Panel door in C18 frame with rectangular fanlight. End bays have
C18 12-pane flush frame sashes, while inner bay has similar 16-pane sash, all
with cambered brick arches. Above at each end 2 similar 12-pane sashes, with
in centre C19 canted oriel window with sashes. Roof hipped to left with ridge
piece and stack at right end and behind ridge near left end.
