Cottage, once pair C17, early C19 & C20. Timber-frame with brick infill and
brick with flint panels with mock timber-frame laid over one bay, tile hung
1st floor, slate roof. Left 2 bays C16 timber-frame right 2 bays early C19
when eaves raised and building deepened. Right bay given timber-frame and
brick infill skin C20. C19 6-panel door in C20 open gabled timber porch in centre
of timber-frame, no openings in right bay and C20 3-light steel windows in
others. Roof hipped with large central stack and small stacks on hip. C18
scanthing timber and brick lean-to to left. Inside much of timber-frame exposed.
