SU 4932 KINGS WORTHY CHURCH LANE

12/21 Tudor Cottage

Cottage, once 2 dwellings. C17 and early C19. Timber-frame with brick infill
and additions, and flint and brick additions, all colourwashed, thatched roof.
1½ storey 3 bay C17 building with bay added to right and outshot bay added to
left when left bay encased in flint. C19 planked door with inserted glazed
area at inner end of left bay, 3-light casement to right below exposed timber-
frame, and irregular C19 2-light casements in other bays, blocked door at inner
end of right bay. Above 4 irregular C19 2-light casements in eyebrow dormers,
those to left smaller, built on wallplate. Roof hipped with stacks above door-
ways.
