SU 43 SE KINGS WORTHY LOVEDON LANE

Pair of cottages. Early C19 bay added mid C19. Rubble flint with brick
dressings, thatched roof. Pair of 1½ storey, 2 bay cottages with matching
bay added to end of right cottage probably in later Cl9. Each cottage has
central planked door in solid frame, but left door has C19 brick plinthed,
weatherboarded gabled porch and right door has C20 timber and glass-sided,
gabled thatch roof porch. To right of this 2 C18 2-light cast iron casements
with camber heads, between doors 2 C19 2-light leaded casements with camber
heads, and at left end C20 2-light casement. Above each window is an eyebrow
dormer with 2-light cast iron casement in plastered wall above wallplate. Roof
hipped with stack between 2 cottages.
