12/13 Abbots Worthy Mill

Mill and barn now dwelling. C18. Brick mill, weather-boarded barn, old plain
tile roof. 5 bay, 2 storey mill with mill stream running under left bay and to
left of it. On far side of stream is barn, now linked by 1st floor glazed
walkway. Barn 2 storey 3 bay. In front of mill brick arched bridge, with plain
parapets, crosses mill stream. Left bay of mill has a narrow light on each
floor. Centre and right bays had full height opening for doors now replaced
by windows on each floor with timber panel between. Other bays have window on
each floor, originally 2-light casement. Roof hipped with stack in front of
ridge near left end and hipped dormer with door,for grain to be hoisted into
loft, on left hip.
