27.11.84 The Manor House

GV II

House. C17 extended C18. Timber-frame core, reused stone dressings
and random flint patches, brick, old plain tile roof. 11/2 storey, 4 bay,
the right bay of brick. C19 gabled brick porch with later 'Gothic' door
in centre of right bay, and stable door under pent-roofed porch at right
end of left bay, with 2-light casement in segmental head to left. Centre
bays have dressed stone openings, including arch, with C20 2-light leaded
steel casements. Above these 2 C20 3-light hipped dormers above and
2-light hipped dormer in outer bay.
