Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C17 extended C18. Timber-frame weatherboarded, corrugated iron
roof with finial ridge piece. Original 3-bay aisled barn has hipped
midstray porch with double doors. 2 bays added to road end C18. Roof
half-hipped. Inside queen post roof with posts on piers and walls on
brick plinths. Arched braces to aisle-plates and cambered tiebeams,
straight windbraces. In added bays hotch-potch of larch poles.
