Public house. Early C19. Brick with slate roof and tilehung additions.
2 storey on cellar, 3 bay front with added bay along right side and 3 bays
deep with on road side slightly projecting bay with porch towards rear.
Front has 6 16-pane sashes with rubbed brick segmental head. Large sign
between floors. Added bay on side has round-headed top-lit door and above
tilehung 1st floor with flat roof. Hipped roof with wide eaves and behind
ridge symmetrical brick stacks.
