Barn. C17, altered C20. Timber-frame weatherboarded on brick plinth with
concrete blocks in one end wall, asbestos sheet roof. 8-bay aisled barn
having on farm side in 2nd and 3rd bays in from each end double slatted timber
doors, and 3rd bays in on other side having recessed midstray doors. Roof
half-hipped. Inside tall queen post roof with aisles. Posts on brick
piers with some baseplate ties, aisle ties to top of walls cambered tie beam
with strut to lower purlin. Braces from posts to ties and aisle plates and
windbraces to upper purlins.
