SW of Hursley House

Stable block. 1829 on key stone. Brick with slate roof, and lead ridges.
3 bay, 2 storey centre block with single storey 3-bay wing each side. Central
block has central archway with arch of rubbed brick and Portland stone key
blocks. Each side in panel with depressed rubbed brick arch head, door
above 3 stone steps and above a 16-pane sash. Hipped roof with symmetrical
stacks surmounted by bellcote of square base with cupola above. To right
link wing from house is in front. To left 7 narrow bay blind arcade with
rubbed brick heads and hipped roof. Carriage double doors to wings on other
side.
