Farley Mount Obelisk. 1795 for Sir Paulet St John. Stone 4-sided pyramid
some 10 m high in centre of earthwork on Farley Down. Erected by Sir Paulet
St John of Farley Chamberlayne to a favourite hunter which leapt into a
chalk pit 8 m deep without injury to horse or rider.
