SU 43 SW SPARSHOLT LOCK'S LANE

1/9 Watley Cottage

Cottage. Late C18. Flint and brick bands and brick dressings, thatched
roof. 1½ storey, 2 bay, outshot to rear. Central doorway replaced by C20
window put in original segmental-headed opening. Each side 3-light camber-
headed casements. Above 2 3-light casements, surrounded by weatherboarding,
in eyebrow dormers. Roof has ridge piece and rendered end stacks.
