Barn of 2 builds with a thatched stable block. C16 with C18 addition and
stable block. Barn of C16 brick walls with reused dressed stone plinth and
doorway, inside timber-frame, C18 addition weatherboarded barn and brick
stable, old plain tile roof, slate roof to addition. C16 barn 7 bays and
aisled on farmyard side, centre bay open with double doors opposite, and open
centre right bay. To right end outshot added. To left end 4 wide bay late
C18 barn added (with low walls but not aisled). Full height doors in right
centre bay and stable doors in left bays. Projecting forward from left end
C18 2 storey, 5 bay stable block with stable doors in 2nd and 4th bays and
windows with hay loft doors over in other bays. On road elevation in end
C18 bay reset C14 pointed door and hood mould. Inside C16 barn queen post
roof with main posts on both sides on pad stones. Long straight braces to
ties and on aisle side to aisleplate and curved wind-braces.
