House. Cl7 timber-frame, with early C19 recladding and substantial extension.
Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, some tile-hung upper floors, frame
exposed at the south end. Tile roof, hipped and half-hipped. The long front
rests on sloping ground, and the north side is smaller (and of the later date),
the south side having a tile-hung half hipped gable. North-west front of two
storeys (at two levels), and two storeys and attic, 1.1.1 windows. Sash in
exposed frame at the north side, casements elsewhere. Plain doorway within
gabled porch, having a timber frame on a low wall: another former doorway now
filled. At the south end there is a massive tapered stack and a single-storeyed
extension (set-back).
