Public house. C17 timber frame, raised and reclad C18, some C19 features and
south extension. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers, two flush
blue header bands at 1st floor, cambered ground-floor openings: north wall with
exposed framing to the gable, showing two phases of construction. Half-hipped
tile roof, with catslide at rear. South-east front elevation of two storeys four
above two windows. Upper sashes in exposed frames, lower casements. Two plain
doorways, within late C19 gabled porches, with trellis frame above brick base
walls.
