10/12 Eastbrook House

House. Of C17 origin, mainly mid C18 with late C18 centrepiece, and early C19
rear extensions. Brick walls of blue headers with flush red quoins and rubbed
flat arches: rear walls of Flemish Garden Wall bond. Tile roof, hipped to
centrepiece, wood eaves cornice with mouldings and carved dentils, two gabled
dormers with casements. Symmetrical south-east front elevation, with half-octagonal
central feature, of two storeys and attic, 2.3.2 windows. Original sashes in
exposed frames. The half-octagon upper floor rests on an open porch of four
columns, in a Tuscan Order; the doorway has an architrave, pulvinated frieze, a
cornice, and a late C19 elaborately panelled door.
