House. Late-medieval timber-framed building, with C17 timber framed changes,
minor recladding and features of the early C19. Exposed frame, jettied along the long
south-east elevation, with brackets to each bay, close-studding surviving at the
east corner, some wider spacing to the 1st floor, with painted brick infill (some
herring-bone): recladding of part in painted brick of Flemish Garden Wall bond.
Prominent tile roof, with catslide to the rear, boarded gable at the east end and
hip at the west end, brought to a low eaves above an outshot: some C20 recessed
dormers; massive tapered stack at the west. South-east front elevation of four
bays, two storeys with a window within each bay. Casements. Two old doorways with
plain frames and boarded doors.
