House. Late C16 timber frame with late C17 cladding, and minor changes of C18,
C19 and C20. Brick walls in English bond, plinth, lst floor band, rubbed flat arches,
some changes of features and small area rendered. Steep hipped tile roof, hipped
dormers. L-shaped block, south front elevation of two storeys and attic four
windows. Sashes. Architrave with half-glazed door. The other elevations are
irregular, and include a late C18 half-octagonal bay, two old windows, a cast-iron
'Tudor' casement in one dormer. The former entrance from the roadway has been
filled (leaving the fanlight) and a new one substituted within the forecourt.
Inside the frame is exposed.
