8/11 Granary approx 20 metres
north-east of Park House
GV II
Granary. C18, altered. Timber frame with weatherboard cladding, on staddle
stones; plain tile roof. Square on plan, 2 x 2 bays. 9 staddle stones set on
square brick plinths with rounded corners; square-section beams support super-
structure. Some old tarred weatherboard, the rest replacement. West side has
central, replacement, board door with old boarded shutter to former opening on
left. Interior: loft over left bay; large-scantling timbers, the frame of
rectangular panels with horizontal board lining; collared raked queen-strut roof
truss with through purlins; rafters laid flat; wind braces.
