House. Late C18, with a small wing of earlier origin but C20 features. Walls
of red brickwork in Flemish bond, with blue heads to the east elevation, of
Flemish Garden Wall bond with blue heads to the south, rubbed flat arches,
stone cills, plinth to part. Hipped slate roof (formerly tiled). Regular north
front elevation of three storeys four windows, with a Victorian single-storeyed
flat-roofed projection at the west side. Victorian sashes in reveals. Doorcase
(c1920) of full Doric Order with 3/4 columns, semi-circular hood, arched opening
with plain fanlight, 6-panelled (2 top glazed) door, above three stone steps.
The west elevation is three storeys three windows, with a south side 2-storeyed
service wing of one window. Victorian sashes, casements to the wing, the ground-
floor opening (former entrance) at the south side of the main part having a large
arch, with a fanlight above French windows. The main block has a symmetrical
east elevation of three storeys two windows.
