9/2 Mill 10 metres south west
of Soberton Mill House
GV II
Small water-mill. C18 and early C19. Brick walls of English bond, cambered open-
ings. Tile roof. A rectangular block of four levels (two in the roof), appearing
as single-storeyed at the south-east side, with a massive doorframe and boarded
door, and as two storeys to the north west side with three above two windows.
The race has brick side walls, and passes beneath the house forecourt, in a channel
to the north of the mill building. The south-west gable shows openings at the
four levels.
