House. C16 timber framed house with crosswings, with C18 and late C19 recladding
and features, and minor C20 features. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond with
blue headers, also English bond of the late C19. Tile roof, slate on the outside
of the east wing, with a half-hip at its south end: two large shafted stacks.
The south elevation has the wing projecting at the east side and an outshot at
the west, of two storeys and attic, 4.0 above 3.2 windows. Sashes in exposed frames,
one deep Victorian sash, casements to the wing. C20 brick porch. The north
elevation has wings projecting at each side; two storeys 1.2.1 windows. Casements.
Brick porch with arched entrance. The east elevation has two storeys three windows.
Inside there is exposed framework, massive fireplaces, and one ground-floor room
has a fine C17 plaster ornamental ceiling.
